Job Title: Associate Financial Advisor

Willowbranch Financial Group is seeking to fill an Associate Financial Advisor role. This person will support the owner in servicing clients. As an Associate Advisor, you will have direct engagement with our clientele and learn the Willowbranch Financial Group Financial Planning and Investment Philosophy that has been working for clients for 25+ years. This role also may lead to advancement within the company. At least two years of Financial Services experience is preferred.

The Ideal Candidate:

Uses proactive financial planning process to deliver exceptional service to existing book of Brad Paul’s clients at Willowbranch Financial Group.  The focus is to deepen the relationship with these clients and offer appropriate financial planning, investment and insurance products based on the needs of clients. The Associate Advisor will also seek to broaden the client base of Willowbranch Financial Group through actively seeking introductions to qualified prospects through various marketing methods.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to Brad Paul through meeting with assigned clients.
  • Manage financial planning process for clients assigned by Brad Paul
  • Provide suitable recommendations to clients on behalf of Willowbranch Financial Group
  • Provide support to the business by maintaining effective communication with operations and administrative teams.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

  • Appointments will be scheduled by the administrative team based on Willowbranch Financial Groups Client Activity Model.
  • Contact clients to provide updates on Financial Plan Development
  • Meet with clients in person, virtually and over the phone (and virtually as needed) to review current portfolio and financial plans.
  • Attend meetings with Brad Paul to help support follow-up-efforts and implementation recommendations.
  • Prepare supporting materials for clients as requested by Brad Paul
  • Complete financial plans and deliver to clients
  • Continue to prospect for new clients through effectively asking for introductions from existing clients.
  • Attend networking events as approved by Brad Paul
  • Attend all meetings as scheduled.
  • Place all client-related notes in Redtail for all team members to review.
  • Follow Redtail Workflow Steps for Financial Planning and New Client Establishment
  • Attend client events.
  • Maintain compliance and Continuing Education requirements.
  • Seek Financial Services advanced designation opportunities.
  • Other Business/Client related tasks
  • Maintain minimum production of $2M new AUM annually.
  • Adhere to Willowbranch Financial Groups Code of Conduct
  • Work with the operations and administrative team regarding client interactions
  • Provide practice wide coverage when Brad Paul is out of the office.


Essential Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Series 7, 63 & 65, 66, L/h insurance licensed.
  • Experience: a minimum of two years in financial services preferred.

  • Knowledge of LPL’s Client Works
  • Experience with Morningstar Workstation
  • Experience with eMoney Financial Planning Software
  • Experience with Redtail CRM
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

This is primarily an in-office position.  Expectations are for 5 day per week schedule.
