For nearly 20 years, Cathy has helped her clients manage their personal and professional finances. She believes in personalized service and takes great pride in her many long-term client relationships. Cathy is passionate about her work, especially helping clients realize the potential of a disciplined approach. From buying a first home and educating children, to planning for retirement and leaving a legacy, Cathy knew she wanted to play a key role in helping others pursue life’s important milestones.
Cathy began her career in the financial industry in 1998 when she was given the opportunity to learn from a seasoned financial planner. She became licensed to offer securities in 1999. In 2002 she joined Waddell & Reed as a Financial Advisor. It was through this experience she realized the satisfaction that comes from helping individuals and families work toward their financial goals. In a time when computers and outsourcing were replacing face-to-face, genuine relationships, Cathy feels that her approach to financial planning stands out from the crowd. She believes in the importance of personalized service and takes great pride in getting to know her clients and their families. By developing long-term relationships built on trust, she is able to help serve clients’ changing needs.
Cathy holds her Series 6 and 63 licenses. Cathy has been recognized as an Advisor Medalist and Crest Award recipient. She is also licensed to sell annuities, life, long-term care, and disability insurance.
Recently, she received recognition for her charity work with Caitlins’ Smiles. Waddell & Reed’s Philanthropic Committee chose her as one of three winners for 2020! The award is given to the top three advisors in the nation, out of over 1000, who are making significant contributions to their community.
Born and raised in the Harrisburg area, Cathy and her husband Roger enjoy DIY home projects, traveling, and spending time with their grown children Zachary, Melissa, and son-in-law, Brian. In her spare time you can find her cycling, mastering the art of fly fishing, or spoiling her grandkids, Susannah, Jonah and Rocco.
